Nivedita Foundation began with a simple question — what would happen if every child in rural Karnataka had the same shot at life as one in a metro? In the years since, that question has shaped every choice we've made.

We are a Section 8 nonprofit organisation built on three commitments: be ruthlessly transparent with money, design programs that compound year over year, and treat the people we serve as partners — never recipients. Today our work spans seven pillars — education, health, women's livelihoods, skill development, rural transformation, environment and community resilience — across twelve districts and forty-eight ongoing projects.

More than 25,000 children, women and elders are reached every year. Eight hundred and fifty volunteers give their weekends. Forty-eight independently audited project reports are published on this site. And every rupee of every donation is traceable — by donor, by district, by outcome.

We don't believe in scale for its own sake. We believe in compounding change — the kind that begins when a first-generation learner walks into a college, or a self-help-group woman opens her first bank account, or an elderly widow gets her pension restored after seventeen years of waiting. These are the moments that keep us honest, and that's the work you fund when you stand with us.
